- Do I work and attend classes at the same time?
YES -- During the day you would work on a job site and 2 nights per week 3 hours per night for approximately 7 months of the year you would attend classes.
- How much do I get paid?
Depending on your work hours and what year of schooling you have completed you receive a % of journeyman scale.
- When do you hire?
Typically spring and summer.
- How many do you hire?
This is based on contractor demand.
- How do I get a job?
Once you have completed all the requirements of application and you are on the available list you can be called and offered an apprenticeship. This again is based on contractor demand. If a contractor places a request for an apprentice and all of our current apprentices have jobs the BNJATC will then start a new apprentice. The contractor requests are filled in the order they are received.

HCC offers several classes that qualify. Maintenance Welding, Maintenance Technology, DC Electronics, Math Technology. You can get a schedule of classes at the Community Commons Building on campus.
